Hardline Valve Stem Extension or Flex Hose Extensions
For inside duals with valve stems pointing outward, Hardline Valve Stem Extensions or Flex Hose Extensions bring TiroGage through a hand-hole in outside wheel for easy access.
TiroGage can be fitted with hard-line valve-stem extensions through the outside wheel, and can also be secured with a rubber grommet.
For outside duals with valve stems pointing inward, a 180° fitting returns TiroGage to face outward for easy reading. Flex line can also be used.
Underinflated Retreads
Randy Clark, vice-president of Marketing for Michelin Americas Truck Tires, says, "There has been a lot of discussion recently about tire debris at the side of the road, and there have been some misconceptions about the cause, which some have presumed to be retreaded tires. The problem, however, can be traced back to tire air pressure. A drop in air pressure of even 20% adds stress to the tire and creates excess heat, which can eventually result in tire failures."
